​The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) of EMEA Training College, Kondotty has been constituted in accordance with the applicable provisions of the UGC (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal of Sexual Harassment of Women Employees and Students in Higher Educational Institutions) Regulations, 2015 and the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. The Committee is responsible for addressing complaints relating to sexual harassment within the institution and for ensuring a safe, respectful and supportive environment for students and employees.

​​The ICC receives and examines complaints of sexual harassment and undertakes the necessary inquiry in accordance with the prescribed procedures. Where required, the Committee may collect relevant documents, obtain statements from the complainant and witnesses, and examine other information relevant to the complaint. Complaints that do not fall within the scope of sexual harassment may, where appropriate, be referred to the Grievance Redressal Cell or the competent authority for necessary action.

​​​In cases involving sexual harassment by a third party or an outsider, the ICC shall take appropriate and reasonable steps to support the affected person and facilitate necessary preventive measures, as applicable. The Committee shall conduct inquiries in accordance with the procedures prescribed under the applicable UGC Regulations and relevant legislation, while maintaining confidentiality and ensuring due process. Where an inquiry establishes that a complaint was knowingly false or malicious, or that forged, misleading or deliberately false information was provided, appropriate action may be taken in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations.
